Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups Mashed banana 3 medium sized banana
  • 2 Eggs
  • 6 tbsp Melted butter 85 g
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar 50 g
  • 1/3 cup White sugar 66 g
  • 1/4 cup Yogurt 65 g
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All purpose flour 260 g
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips 175 g

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 325 degree F or 165 C. Grease a 9 by 5 inch loaf pan well with butter.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda,baking powder and salt.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, cooled melted butter, eggs, yogurt, sugar, and vanilla. 
  • Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.  Be careful not to over mix
  • Stir in the chocolate chips until just combined.
  • Pour the bread batter into the prepared pan.  Bake for 70-75 minutes or until a toothpick inserted slightly off center in the bread comes out with just a few crumbs.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then remove and allow to cool on a cooling rack for 35 minutes before slicing and enjoying.
