Into a bowl, add in the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, melted butter and milk.Whisk and combine them all together.
Add more milk, to get icing to the desired consistency.

You can make your cinnamon roll icing thinner or thicker by adjusting the amount of milk. For thinner cinnamon roll icing add more milk but little (one tablespoon)at a time.If you love more icing in your cinnamon rolls, reserve some of the thick icing, so that you can use it to double frost the rolls.If you like a more creamy texture, use heavy cream instead of milk.For making big batch, you will find it easy to use a stand mixer or hand mixer to whisk, as it will be difficult to do it by hand.You can make this easy cinnamon roll frosting without cream cheese ahead of time and can keep it in fridge. Take it out from fridge and bring it to room temperature. Whisk the icing. You may need to add a little more milk to get it to the right consistency.
