Ingredients
  

  • 200 g Butter
  • 3 Eggs
  • 100 ml (thick)Yogurt
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 220 g All purpose flour
  • Lemon Zest of two lemons.
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Cream butter and sugar until pale yellow.
  • Add in eggs one by one.
  • Add in the lemon zest and then add in the flour and then the yogurt and combine everything together.
  • Transfer the batter on to a baking vessel and bake at 350 F preheated oven for 40-45 minutes.
  • Test the doneness of the Lemon cake by poking the center of the cake with a skewer. If it comes out clean,Then our Lemon cake is done!
  • Brush the top of the lemon cake with a Lemon syrup (optional) will add more lemon flavor in to our lemon cake.
  • To make the lemon syrup, We will need 4 Tbsp Water, 3 Tbsp sugar, Juice of half of a lemon.Boil until they get a syrup consistency.
  • Enjoy the easiest and tastiest Lemon cake ever!
