Spread the pecans out in a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Toast pecans in a 350 F preheated oven on the baking sheet for 6 to 8 minutes. Stir or shake the pan occasionally so the nuts brown evenly and  until they are fragrant and toasted without burning .

You can toss the pecan nuts with oil or butter or with some spices or with salt, if you want them to have more defined flavor to it; before placing them into the oven.
