3 ingredient brown sugar cookies recipe will help you make delicious, buttery brown sugar cookies which are soft ,light and delicious.

Ingredients
  

  • 146 g Flour 1 cup+ 2 tbsp
  • 113 g Butter 1/2 cup
  • 67 g Brown Sugar (light or dark brown sugar)1/4 cup + 1 tbsp

Instructions
 

Just mix all the ingredients in a bowl

  • In to a bowl add in the softened butter and the sugar and whisk them together until the butter is pale yellow in color.
  • Add the flour and combine together to form a brown sugar cookie dough.

Shape the Brown Sugar Cookies

  • Scoop the cookie mix into a spoon for making the brown sugar cookies even in shape.I have used a 1/2 tbsp scoop. If you want larger cookies, use bigger spoon.
  • This recipe can make 20-30 small cookies and around 15 large cookies.
  • Roll it into a small round ball and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet.
    Flatten the dough ball with the back of a glass. Dust the back of glass with some flour to prevent the dough sticking to it.
    You can also make imprints on cookies using some textured surface.

Bake the brown sugar cookies

  • Bake the 3 ingredient cookies at 325 F or 160 C preheated oven for around 20-22 minutes or until the edge of brown sugar cookies become lightly golden in color.
  • The baking duration will be less if you make even smaller cookies and will be more if the cookies are bigger in size.
  • Let them stand in the baking tray itself for about 2 minutes.
  • Then transfer the cookies on to a cooling rack.
  • When the cookies are cooled, enjoy them with some hot tea or coffee or with some cold milk or with cold coffee.

The taste of brown sugar is not the same if they are under-baked or over-baked.
So take care to take them out from oven, at the right time. The cookies will start to become light golden on edges and they smell really good when they are baked.
The baking duration will be less if you make even smaller cookies and will be more if the cookies are bigger in size.
