This Moist Apple Pecan Cake is so delicious!
This apple pecan cinnamon cake is so soft and fluffy,a little sticky on top (like a caramel candy) and very tasty with light crunchiness of pecan nuts and little tartness of apples.
Ingredients
- 150 gms sugar +115 gms Palm sugar or Brown sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 225 gms All purpose flour
- 200 gms Softened Butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsps vanilla essence
- 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled and chopped in small pieces
- 90-100 gms pecans, chopped small
Method
1.Cream Butter and Sugar
until light and fluffy.
2.Add Eggs (one at a time).
3.Add Vanilla Essence.
4.Sift in the dry ingredients(Flour +Baking powder+salt) until you get a homogenous cake batter.
5.Transfer onto a baking vessel.
Add the apple,pecan and palm sugar or brown sugar on top.(or if don’t like the rustic top part of cake you can keep some cake batter to add on the top).
Using a skewer swirl the top to get a marble effect to our cake when sliced.
6.Bake at 375 F Preheated oven for 60-80 minutes.
Check the doneness of apple cake by poking a skewer into the center of the cake and if it comes out clean,your cake is done 🙂

- Using a skewer,swirl the top of cake to get marble effect.
