Easy No Knead Dimple Dinner Rolls

These French Dimple Dinner Rolls/Brotchen Rolls are one of the best and simplest homemade rolls ever.

These dimple dinner rolls are so easy to make and they are super soft,fluffy and tender; and too delicious.

They are perfect to make pockets to fill it with fruit jam,pure butter,chocolate spread,peanut butter,hummus,falafel,and they goes pretty well with any soups,salads or main dishes.

Lets see how to make these beautiful dimple dinner rolls in FIVE SIMPLE STEPS.

Ingredients:

  • 300 g Plain flour
  • 230 ml +/- 1 Tbsp lukewarm water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp instant yeast
  • You can use same amount of active dried yeast.
  • 1 tsp sugar

Method:

1.Prepare the bread dough.

Whisk together all the dry ingredientsEasy No Knead Dinner rolls  and then add water.

2.First Proofing.

Let that dough sit and rise for 2 hours in a warm environment.

3.Divide and shape the dough.

Transfer the dough on to a lightly floured work surface.
Divide the dough in to 8 pieces in such a way that each piece weigh approximately 70g.
Roll it into small round or oval shapes.

Place them on a nonstick baking tray or on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

4. Second proofing.

Let that shaped dough sit and rise for the second time for 30 minutes.
Then press the center of each roll firmly to make a deep slit.Dont hesitate to press down firmly or else the sit will disappear during final rising and rolls will look flat when baked.

Then let these finally shaped dough sit for another 15 minutes.
Before taking them into the oven,pour a glass of water on to a baking tray and place it inside the oven.

This will create steam inside the oven which will delay the formation of crust on dinner rolls which is needed for light and airy bread and also it sees the moisture inside the rolls which will make the inside ,soft and fluffy.

5.Bake the dinner rolls.

Bake them at 410 F for 12-15 min or until they turn golden brown in color.Easy no knead dimple dinner rolls

Note:

This dough can be quite tricky to handle. The secret is to keep your hands and the work surface lightly dusted with flour.

How to store and reheat the leftover rolls?

For Storing leftovers:

Once cooled, you can store the rolls in a resealable plastic bag  for up to two days at room temperature or  in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 1 month.

For Reheating:

(1)The oven is a really great way to reheat dinner rolls.

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Place rolls on a baking sheet and put in the oven for 5 minutes

(2)The toaster oven is another way you can use to reheat your dinner rolls

  • Place dinner rolls on a microwavable plate
  • Cover rolls with a damp paper towel
  • Nuke rolls for about 30 seconds.
